ENVIRONMENTAL. The carbon footprint of an ordinary taxi is on the order of 2.25 tons per year.* Eco-Taxi, on the other hand, produces zero greenhouse gases as our bike rolls along happily through the city. Even horse-drawn carriages aren't emission-free!

SOCIAL. Riding a Conference Bike brings people together like no other casual activity. If you observed Eco-Taxi's late-night downtown service in action, you'd never suspect that the passengers were strangers before they got on our bike. People who would have never glanced at each other on the street chat away as happily as new friends. Simply being aboard immerses you in participation in a shared experience that immediately breaks the ice. Eco-Taxi really does bring people together.

EXISTENTIAL. Fundamentally, the nature of consciousness is non-dual. However, a deeply-rooted perceptual error creates and re-creates, each moment again, a subject/object duality, or split, through which the inherently non-dual world is viewed - wherein 'I' am experiencing 'the world' as something separate or different, from 'I'. This habitual misperception, a pre-packaged tendency for which no one is to blame, is the source of an on-going sense of discomfort and unease. We believe that attending to environmental concerns is an essential part of the good life, but that this sense of existential anxiety also deserves appropriate redress. Operating a vehicle that requires a high level of attention, joie de vivre, and multiple ego-systems co-operating in concert inherently leads to the recognition and/or breakdown of the artificial duality maintaining that anxiety. At Eco-Taxi, we're committed to finding viable solutions to meet your existential needs.

PHYSICAL. Physical activity has become an activity that we isolate from all others. Our lives have become unnaturally divided into periods of intense exercise at the gym, and longer periods of sedentary work and entertainment.
